Ponds & Wetlands in the village? Wetlands? Really?

If any of us own a lot of land, then yes, a wetland project is surely possible. But it is possible to create wetlands in much smaller spaces, and if we build many of them, then the total area can contribute significantly to green spaces.

Part of this project is of course with anyone who has some garden space to create a pond and some bogland. In addition,  however, there may be spaces in our common land where we, with the Parish Council, the Horticultural Society, and other groups, can actually build larger wetland spaces.
