Pallets – not only are they free and versatile, but they are wood which means they sequester carbon. Don’t burn them, re-purpose them and keep that carbon trapped for a while longer.

I make a lot of stuff from pallets. In just the last six months, I have built wood stores, raised beds for growing veggies and even a Christmas tree.

You can always find pallets for free – just ask on the Tatsfield Talk Facebook page or visit the industrial estate near the airport.
